Join Candace, under the Poetree, for a magical storytelling adventure based on The Tempest by Shakespeare. Through poetry, song, puppetry, shadow puppets, and audience participation, this unique performance will bring to life the tale of a storm and its lessons of friendship, forgiveness, being lost and found, and embracing differences.
Set in a room that can be darkened, the simple yet poetic stage transforms into an enchanting world. Each year, a new story blooms from the Poetree, and this year’s tale is The Storm, a gentle and immersive experience for young English learners.

The children had a fantastic time and really got involved with the drama at every stage. By stepping into the lives of characters from history, it helped them recognise and empathise with the past. We can’t thank Candice enough for giving up her time and the children will be using their experiences for their writing when we come back to start the new half term.
