English through Drama Classes
Our classes are taught online by experienced native English speaking teachers. Our creative, drama based classes and learning experiences focus on communication, collaboration, curiosity, concentration and confidence. Children learn English through active engagement with the language, creating confident speakers. We communicate your child’s progress with you throughout the year and help your child achieve their personal language learning goals. We use literature to enhance our learning and encouraging a love of story and books. Classes can contain a mixture of games, theatre, song, movement, puppetry, scenes and improvisations. We work with a theme each week and optional extra learning materials and projects are provided.
What will children learn?
How to communicate confidently in English! Vocabulary can increase at each level by at least 1200 words. As an added bonus, they will learn to work as a team, be creative and increase their self-esteem. (For more information on learning English through Drama, please visit our WHY DRAMA? page.)
When are classes held?
Classes are held twice a week for 40 weeks online (80 lessons.)
We have three levels. Levels and ages are guidelines only. Each child’s maturity and experience is unique and we reserve the right to switch classes and levels for a better fit, if needed.
Level 1:
This class is for children aged 7+ who have at least one year’s experience learning English. Please check our timetable to find class days and times.
Level 2:
This class is for children aged 9+ who have at least two year’s experience learning English. Please check our timetable to find class days and times.
Level 3:
This class is for children aged 11+ who have at least 3 years of experience learning English. Please check our timetable to find class days and times.
